'Beyond the Vows' is a movie about marriage. However, as the title itself suggests, nothing of the restricted look only at the time of the "yes". Here, in this feature film directed and written by Joan Montreuil ('Closer to Home'), the viewer is placed at the heart of the story of a marriage that begins to crumble little by little. Thus, Joan brings very unique and intimate looks at life together. The format in which the story is told is somewhat banal and some things are not told in the right way - the movie, after all, exaggerates a lot in duration, with more than two hours in total. But the idea is good and the reflections that Joan brings to the public are effective. Just understand the idea and put it in your own perspective.

Kidnapped
In Kidnapped (Rapito), Italian filmmaker Marco Bellocchio delves into one of the murkiest and most controversial episodes in the history of the Catholic Church, the "Mortara case". In 1851, when Jewish boy Edgardo Mortara becomes gravely ill, his Catholic nanny decides to baptize him in an emergency. However, papal law dictates that all Catholics must be raised as such, so the cardinal orders the boy to be taken and handed over to the church, against his parents' wishes, who decide to fight for him. The film recounts a controversial case that captured the attention of the rest of Europe and America, and skillfully portrays the clash of interests between the waning power of the church, Mortara's parents, and public opinion, with irreversible consequences for all involved.
Green Border
'Green Border' - In the treacherous and swampy forests that make up the so called “green border” between Belarus and Poland, refugees from the Middle East and Africa trying to reach the European Union are trapped in a geopolitical crisis cynically engineered by Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko. In an attempt to provoke Europe, refugees are lured to the border by propaganda promising easy passage to the EU. Pawns in this hidden war, the lives of Julia, a newly minted activist who has given up her comfortable life, Jan, a young border guard, and a Syrian family intertwine.
