Why watch this film?

The 'Underworld: Rise of the Lycans' saga is one of the most inexplicable successes in cinema: the films have bad stories, the visuals are strange and there is not much consistency in what is told. However, the franchise has still proven to be a huge success and appeals to those seeking vampire and werewolf stories with a strong Gothic and medieval atmosphere. In 'Underworld: Rise of the Lycans', the third film in the franchise, the viewer is presented with the beginning of it all. The start of this war that took over the two other films, between vampires and werewolves. Again, these already listed problems insist on resurfacing. However, the creativity of some of the situations and a good cast headed by Michael Sheen, Bill Nighy and Rhona Mitra make it a fun watch, without worrying about any kind of rigor.
