Why watch this film?
Alongside 'The Pursuit of Happiness', the feature film 'Hitch' may be one of the most beloved movies of Will Smith's career. And it's no wonder. After all, director Andy Tennant ('The Secret: Dare to Dream') mixes unpretentious humor with a fun romance as he tells the story of a relationship consultant who ends up in a different situation when attending one of his many clients. Smith, as always, brings a graceful lightness to the plot, while Kevin James ('Mall Cop') fits like a glove in the role of a love failure. A light and unpretentious comedy that still manages to draw sighs with its good romantic plot.

Despite the protagonists, Katie Holmes and Josh Lucas, delivering their characters with solid performances, the plot of the production ends up being predictable and more concerned with proving the philosophies present in the book, than creating an intriguing feature film.
