30's Blues

Two ex-filmmakers in their 30s face the crisis of love and future in an original and interesting way.

Why watch this film?

Several movies try to show and bring details about the famous "crisis of thirty" - that is, an anxiety crisis about life and future that hits at 30 years old. "13 Going on 30", "Bridget Jones's Diary" and "Under the Tuscan Sun" are just some examples of films that deal with it directly or indirectly. Now, the Brazilian film "30 Anos Blues" seeks to bring this look to Latin America and its elites. On the one hand, Diego thinks that the solution to his problems is to get married, have children and finally calm down. Meanwhile, André seeks to restore his youth again by having a relationship, outside of marriage, with a 20-year-old girl. From this crossroads, thus, we find an interesting and original look from the duo of directors Dida Andrade and Andradina Azevedo ("A Bruta Flor do Querer"), showing how the "crisis" can arise in various forms and desires.
