Alice Through the Looking Glass

Alice travels back in time to save the Mad Hatter in a magical world.

Trailer

Why watch this film?

After Tim Burton kicked off with 'Alice in Wonderland', director James Bobin was left with the responsibility of continuing the story of Lewis Carroll's well-known character. Here, there are no surprises, nor the enchantment that exists in the first movie - much also due to this being the first and interesting foray into Disney's world of remakes. However, some points remain high in 'Alice Through the Looking Glass'. First, the magic of the book is still present on the screen. In addition, the cast is sharp, with performances or voice work from names like Johnny Depp, Mia Wasikowska, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Sacha Baron Cohen, Alan Rickman and Timothy Spall. It is not a flawless, nor revealing movie. However, at the heart of the production, we find the magic, shine and visual splendor of fairy tales.
