Why watch this film?

They say that if you've watched at least one movie based on a Nicholas Sparks novel, you already know what to expect in the following ones. So, 'The Choice' is exactly what has been seen in productions like 'A Walk to Remember', 'Safe Haven' and 'The Best of Me': a white couple living the pains of a relationship that was not meant to be, usually with a dog involved and friends giving advice. It's the basics of romantic movies. You watch knowing how it starts, how it develops and how it ends, but still it manages to draw sighs. The highlight here goes to Teresa Palmer ('Lights Out'), who knows how to lead the pasteurized protagonist of Sparks, and to Alexandra Daddario ('Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief'), who steals the scene when she appears.
