Why watch this film?
If you're looking for a DC animation with Batman as the protagonist, you can stop worrying. Despite the title, 'Batman: Soul of the Dragon' focuses its attention on Richard Dragon and other characters that are usually more secondary - even Bruce Wayne's personality has more presence than his masked "other self". However, despite this breaking of expectations due to the title, the DC animation is competent in registering a different universe of the character and, above all, expanding the possibilities of story. The good martial arts scenes and the 1970s atmosphere end up stealing the scene, mostly because of the basic story and the weakened villain. But, overall, you can have fun and travel through these new possibilities of the Batman universe in animations.

Plot summary
Set in the midst of the swinging 1970s, this Elseworlds adventure finds Bruce Wayne under the training of a master sensei. It is here that Bruce, along with other elite students, are forged in the fire of the martial arts discipline. These lifelong bonds will be put to the test when a deadly menace arises from their past. It will take the combined efforts of Batman and world-renowned martial artists Richard Dragon, Ben Turner and Lady Shiva, to battle the monsters of this world and beyond!

Reign of the Supermen
A direct continuation of the animated movie 'The Death of Superman' and an adaptation of the comic book arc known as 'The Return of Superman' in Brazil. In the story, four mysterious heroes emerge to continue the legacy of the Man of Steel, who died after a battle against the villain Apocalypse. With the usual quality of DC animations, the feature film delivers a well-crafted story, though not with as much emotional involvement. It will certainly satisfy fans of the 1990s comics, superhero animations, or those who just want some entertainment.
The Death of Superman
Adapting the comic book arc published in the first half of the 1990s, following closely - albeit with some changes - the story of comics. At the time, the event had a great repercussion in the press, since it was the death of the first superhero in history (and, at that time, resurrecting dead characters was not a common practice yet). Although the animated version of "The Death of Superman" does not have the same impact today, the film is very well executed, with the drama that the event requires and also with good action sequences. One of the merits of the production is that it knows how to explore the dichotomy between the Man of Steel who protects Metropolis and that Clark who grew up as an ordinary boy in the countryside of Kansas and has his loves, fears and desires.
Wonder Woman: Bloodlines
"Wonder Woman: Bloodlines" is another of the acclaimed animated films based on DC heroes. The story is part of the shared universe based on DC's most recent comic books, and once again brings the origin of the heroine. Although the repetition of elements from other works brings that déjà vu feeling, the feature film delivers plenty of action and a certainly inspiring plot, especially among girls. In the Portuguese version, Wonder Woman is once again dubbed by Priscila Amorim, who has become the most well-known voice of the character since the animated series "Justice League".
Superman: Red Son
What would happen if Superman was a communist? Starting from this unusual idea, comic book writer Mark Millar wrote one of the most interesting and talked about comics of the Man of Steel, called 'Superman: Red Son'. This is the adaptation of the comic book to animation, following the already praised series of DC animated movies. The film manages to satisfactorily translate several elements of the comic book, which tries to take us out of the common place of depicting the Cold War in black and white - there are, as we know, several shades of gray in between. Although it brings us several reflections, the movie slips in its final stretch when it tries to diverge more from the original material and follows a path of simplification. It is still an interesting entertainment - and a great invitation for you to read the comic book afterwards.
Justice League vs. The Fatal Five
Another DC animation, which is successful in the segment. The story brings the Justice League, DC's biggest superhero group, with the Fatal Five, who are villains of the 21st century. The film marks the return of the universe of characters and stories that became famous on TV during the 1990s and 2000s through productions such as 'Batman: The Animated Series', 'Justice League' and 'Justice League: Unlimited'. Bruce Timm, the producer responsible for these successes, has also returned, as have the original voice actors in the US. The younger fans will like it, but it will certainly enchant those who grew up watching DC animations. Just the right dose of nostalgia.
Batman: The Killing Joke
This Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment animation is based on the comic book of the same name by Alan Moore and Brian Bolland, one of the most acclaimed in the Batman canon and in comic book history in general. 'Batman: The Killing Joke' has in its favor the solid animation of the studio and a cast of favorites among the character's fans, especially Kevin Conroy, Mark Hamill and Tara Strong in the roles of Bruce, Wayne / Batman, the Joker and Barbara Gordon / Batgirl, respectively. The movie, however, has received criticism for some unnecessary additions to the plot and, in particular, for the controversial treatment given to Batgirl, removed from the original material.

The Witch: Part 2. The Other One - A fast-paced action, mystery and thriller film that follows a young woman with impressive telekinetic powers, desperately fighting for her life while unraveling the mysteries of her past, pursued by unscrupulous killers. With Blue Dragon Award nominations for Best Supporting Actress (Seo Eun-su) and Best New Actress (Cynthia), this film captures the protagonist's intense battle to find answers and justice, facing not only her persecutors, but also to his own inner demons.
Bloodsport
Jean-Claude Van Damme makes his starring debut in the descriptively titled Bloodsport. An American soldier at large in Hong Kong, Van Damme becomes involved in the Kumite, a highly illegal kickboxing competition. Whoever survives the bout will be crowned Kumite champion of the world…a title that has plenty of challengers with homicide in their hearts. The finale offers a duel to the death between Van Damme and reigning Kumite king Bolo Yeung. The script is based on the real-life exploits of martial arts champ Frank Dux, who serves as the film's fight coordinator.
War on Terror: KL Anarchy
Khalid, a rebellious cop from an elite special force must prove he is able to work as a team in order to thwart terrorist threats to bring down Kuala Lumpur.
The Order
In The Order, Van Damme plays a man accused of murder who seeks a sacred scripture in Jerusalem before it falls into the wrong hands, jeopardizing his freedom. With shades of Dan Brown and a script by Jean Claude Van Damme himself, alongside Les Weldon (screenwriter of another action star film, Replicant), the movie is what every fan of the Belgian actor wants: brawling, with a fun plot, and never boring.
