Why watch this film?
Two words to describe what's good about 'Hammer': Will Patton. The star of 'The Messenger' and 'Armageddon' throws himself into this mix of action and drama in a story about a desperate father trying to get his son out of the grip of the drug world - whether it be consumption or chasing traffickers. However, despite all of Patton's strength on screen, as well as some good moments with Mark O'Brien ('Arrival'), the warning is: despite giving indications of following another path at the beginning, 'Hammer' is much slower, contemplative and dramatic. The action takes a back seat. And, with that, some viewers may be frustrated with the experience.

The characters' masks are much scarier, and it ceases to be a complete joke. It's still difficult to take the film entirely seriously, especially with this bizarre premise of Pooh and his friends seeking bloody revenge, but you can already feel more fear and, above all, immerse yourself in the wave of violence that the film promotes. To have fun with friends.
