Why watch this film?
After the controversial and provocative short film 'Skin', nominated for an Oscar in the category, it was expected that filmmaker Guy Nattiv would deliver content as daring as in the feature film of the same name, which arrived in Brazil with the title 'Skin: À Flor da Pele'. However, what we see is a much milder drama about a white supremacist in the United States who regrets the path he has taken after meeting a young woman and her three daughters. From there, Nattiv builds an obvious journey of repentance, redemption and the like in the story of this difficult character to work with and deal with - a real story, it should be said. The highlight is the visceral performance of Jamie Bell ('Rocketman') in one of his most complicated roles. Those who saw 'Skin' and liked it may be disappointed with the feature. But first-time sailors may take on the idea.

Golda
One of the main figures in the political landscape after World War II was Golda Meir. With her warm features, like a grandmother serving cake and coffee, the Israeli politician was one of the founders of the State of Israel and led it during the 1970s, being responsible for managing the country in times of conflict while Israel established itself as a nation before the rest of the world. It is precisely during this period that Golda, the feature film, takes place, which follows the backstage of the Yom Kippur War, when Israel faced Egypt and Syria. It is a smart biographical drama, which cuts off a single scenario to tell the life story of one of the most emblematic (and controversial) characters in Jewish political history. With Golda being played by an unrecognizable Helen Mirren, heavily made up but with force in her facial expressions, the feature film manages to impress with its faithful portrait of the Prime Minister. There is only one point of attention: director Guy Nattiv (Oscar-winning for the short Skin) fails to address other views on Golda and the Israeli cause to embrace a single view of Israel and Golda as the good guys and the Arabs, as has been happening for decades in cinemas, as heartless villains.

Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2
Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 is the unlikely sequel to the feature film that placed the characters of this playful and childlike universe into a world of violence and horror. However, don't expect a production as weak as the previous film: with the success of the first installment at the box office, the production had more money to invest, and thus Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 manages to be more realistic, violent, and impressive compared to the first film. The characters' masks are much scarier, and it ceases to be a complete joke. It's still difficult to take the film entirely seriously, especially with this bizarre premise of Pooh and his friends seeking bloody revenge, but you can already feel more fear and, above all, immerse yourself in the wave of violence that the film promotes. To have fun with friends.
