Why watch this film?
Interesting American independent film, 'CRSHD' is a feature-length movie with several issues: the narrative is somewhat redundant, the characters are predictable and there is an abundance of clichés in the script and direction of first-time filmmaker Emily Cohn. However, it is impossible to ignore the upbeat and curious atmosphere of the film as it tells the story of a teenager trying to lose her virginity -- a theme that is usually seen in cinemas only from a male perspective. The good aesthetics of the film, full of a pink that contrasts with the plot, also helps the movie climb a few more steps.
