Mamãe Saiu de Férias', the Spanish feature film 'Padre No Hay Mas Que Uno' explores two hot topics: paternal independence in child-rearing and the difficulties of dealing with home problems and the daily life of children. Some jokes are dated and a lot of things don't make sense anymore in the 21st century. However, the lightness of the plot and the good performances of the children help make 'Padre No Hay Mas Que Uno' a good and sincere fun.

After a silly but funny first movie, 'Padre No Hay Mas Que Uno 2: Una Suegra en el Nido' revisits the family formed by Javier, father of five children, with his family. Now, his wife is pregnant and his mother-in-law has announced that she will visit them. Despite some worn-out jokes and somewhat off-key, especially regarding the father's lack of presence in raising the children and the "evil" figure of mothers-in-law, the feature film manages to play with some funny topics that should cause identification with the audience. Obviously, it is not a movie that will change your life. But it will make it lighter.
