Why watch this film?
Based on the children's book of the same name by Amy Krouse Rosenthal and Tom Lichtenheld, 'Yes Day' is a good family comedy. In the plot, the couple, formed by Jennifer Garner ('13 Going on 30') and Edgar Ramirez ('The Undoing'), decide to do absolutely everything their children want in one day and the result is great. Following the line of movies like 'Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day' - which also has Garner in the cast, this Netflix production will captivate both the child and adult audience.

Duck Butter
This production brings a reflection on relationships and friendships. A very complex story about two strangers who decide to relate to each other for 24 hours and understand a little bit more about the so-called human intimacy. It is also a movie about discoveries, because the protagonists discover more about sexuality while trying to understand their own personality.

Like a Boss
With a solid career as a TV series director for shows like 'Freaks & Geeks' and 'The Office', filmmaker Miguel Arteta has also created a brand in cinemas: the unpretentious comedy, with a foot in the silly humor. That's how it was with 'Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day', 'Rebel Without a Cause' and now with 'Like a Boss'. Starring Tiffany Haddish, Salma Hayek and Rose Byrne, the feature film bets on comedy of situations to make you laugh. Most of the jokes are absurd, almost out of tune, with the aim of creating a surreal atmosphere around the plot. Hayek's performance evidences this, full of mannerisms and exaggerated moments. There is, in fact, no message or depth of script. Just like 'Girls Trip' and 'Mother's Perfect', the goal is to take a peek into the female universe (from the male gaze, it should be said) and show women living and having fun at parties, intrigues and drinking - something that was exclusive to men in cinema. It's worth it for those who want to laugh without pretensions and in search of a passing entertainment, with some good laughs and a passing story.

Cocaine Bear
Inspired by the 1985 true story of a drug runner's plane crash, missing cocaine, and the black bear that ate it, this wild dark comedy finds an oddball group of cops, criminals, tourists and teens converging in a Georgia forest where a 500-pound apex predator has ingested a staggering amount of cocaine and gone on a coke-fueled rampage for more blow and blood.

Have a Nice Day!
From the same director of "Todas las sardinas del mundo" and the series "La Casa de las Flores," the Mexican feature film "Come Back Soon!" is an incredibly charming film. The story follows the journey of a retired radio announcer in Mexico who decides to work at a market to earn some money. His goal is very special: to attend a party where he hopes to find his true love, with the help of two young men who work at the market. A simple and functional film that shows with lightness how dreams last forever - despite age.
