Why watch this film?
In the first movie of the 'Big Pai, Big Filho' franchise, we follow the story of a boy who goes in search of his father, whom he has never had contact with. And what a surprise when we discover, along with the protagonist of the animation, that his father is none other than Bigfoot. It's a simple cartoon, which ended up winning the heart and laughter of many children out there. Now, young Adam returns in a new adventure, already with the relationship with his father well established. The big question here is that Bigfoot, with his sudden fame, ends up using the spotlight to fight against an oil company. Once again, he disappears from the map and it is up to Adam to find him again. A light and fun movie, although less funny than the first one, to watch with the little ones at home.

Robot Dreams
Sometimes we get so carried away by the marketing power of studios like Disney Pixar, and we overlook other avenues for deep and powerful animated stories that don't need excessively complex plots to evoke emotions. Such is the case with Robot Dreams, a Hispanic-French production directed by Pablo Berger (2012’s Snow White), based on the eponymous graphic novel by Sara Varon. Set in New York during the 80s, the story follows Dog, whose solitary life leads him to buy a robot for companionship. Their friendship grows, but an unfortunate day at the beach forces them to separate and long for the day of their reunion. Virtually without dialogue, with vibrant animation and a captivating visual language, the film tells a simple yet profoundly moving story about (curiously) human relationships and the course they take despite (or because of) accidents, fortuitous circumstances, and uncontrollable events that happen throughout life.
Masha and the Bear: Twice the Fun
