Why watch this film?

The story of the boy who never grew up has already had a series of adaptations in the movies, from the classic Walt Disney Pictures ludic animation, to denser films (like 'Wendy') and even live-actions that try to reproduce the magic of the plot with real actors. This is the case of 'Peter Pan', from 2003, by P.J. Hogan ('Muriel's Wedding'). A film that is part of the affective imagination of many people born in the 1990s and 2000s, the production brings a grandiose production, with impressive special effects for the time, to give a new breath of creativity in Peter Pan's journey. It's not incredible, nor as magical as the Disney movie. However, Jeremy Sumpter is still a good choice as Peter Pan, in a movie full of magic.
