Why watch this film?

Through interviews with provocative personalities - ranging from media representatives, ministers, civil rights activists, veterans and more - this documentary paints a unique look at what it is like to be black in the United States. The production was certainly designed for whites, already assuming that even the director is not black, which already sends the message that it is a white vision of this topic. Despite this, 'Uncle Tom' manages to be a revealing, informative and well-executed film, giving space for different people to share their experiences.
