"The Private Life of a Modern Woman" is a movie that has a rather misleading title: the impression it gives is that we will find in it a tense criminal thriller, a cat and mouse story, the unfolding of a case... The focus of the film however is not on the mystery or the case itself, but on the author of the crime, on her development, choices, actions and thoughts. What the film does is weave a character study, drawing the psychological portrait of this woman who ends up in this grave situation. This perspective of the story can be the differential for the reaction of the viewer and avoid disappointments, but still, the story suffers from some inconsistencies in its unfolding and rhythm.

It's still difficult to take the film entirely seriously, especially with this bizarre premise of Pooh and his friends seeking bloody revenge, but you can already feel more fear and, above all, immerse yourself in the wave of violence that the film promotes.
