Why watch this film?

Absolute success between the 1990s and 2000s, 'Friends' is one of those series that many people don't understand why it has been so successful even decades after its end. After all, the sitcom has a very simple premise of following six friends (and some very interesting supporting characters) in an almost mundane routine, getting into trouble, falling in love, and having fun at the corner cafe or in the apartment with the already classic purple door. It's a simple idea that, with the right actors and precise execution, worked. It became that typical "comfort series" that we put on TV and watch to distract ourselves. In 'Friends: The Reunion' we finally have the celebration of these characters, this story, this series. After all, in just over 100 minutes, we see the actors reuniting 16 years after the last cast recording, reminiscing stories, reading memorable script excerpts, and showing that the chemistry, however different, has not ended. It's a celebration of 'Friends', of course. But above all, it is a deserved tribute to the generation that grew up and matured with Ross, Rachel, Joey, Phoebe, Chandler and Monica keeping them company on the television screen. The only downside is some exaggeration in the tribute, such as Lady Gaga's meaningless participation or a parade with Cara Delevingne. It doesn't make sense and even causes a certain embarrassment. But that's okay. What matters is that the emotion is real and, at the very end, it's hard for the fan to hold back the tears.
