Trailer

Why watch this film?

Award-winning Spanish production, winning seven Goya awards -- considered the Oscars of Spanish cinema. In this mix of drama and horror, we follow the story of Laura (Belén Rueda, exceptional), a woman who decides to buy the house of the orphanage in which she grew up. However, her son quickly begins to develop supernatural interests and conversations with imaginary friends. The tone is tense and director Juan Antonio Bayona (who would later direct the second film in the 'Jurassic World' franchise) knows how to mix the atmosphere of terror with a dramatic story.
