Why watch this film?
'Sweet & Sour' is a charming romantic comedy starring American-Korean singer and actress Krystal Jung. It's a lighthearted and entertaining movie about love, work, and how the two can interfere and affect someone's life, and the importance of making compromises while keeping in mind what you really want. The characters could have been more developed, but still the movie is a safe choice for those who enjoy a good romantic comedy, and also interesting for being a genre film from South Korea, thus having somewhat different perspectives and an air of originality.

Italian filmmaker Nanni Moretti (winner of the Palme d'Or in 2001 for The Son's Room) returns with what has been called his 8½, for obvious reasons. A Brighter Tomorrow is the story of a filmmaker struggling to shoot a movie about the Hungarian Revolution, while trying to save his marriage to his producer wife. The film satirizes the current state of cinema, and perhaps indulges a bit too much in its nostalgia. It is far from the best that veteran Moretti has to offer, but if you've enjoyed his previous films, you will undoubtedly enjoy this one.
