Kajillionaire

A family of con-artists train their daughter to scam, until a heist goes wrong.

Trailer

Why watch this film?

Peculiar movie written and directed by Miranda July ('Me and You and Everyone We Know'). 'Kajillionaire' is the typical love it or hate it case. Those who like 'Adaptation' and 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' will definitely love it. The director basically brings a female version of Charlie Kaufman's works. Brilliantly starred by Evan Rachel Wood, Richard Jenkins and Gina Rodriguez, we are presented to a family of scammers who manage to sustain themselves by committing small thefts. One of the problems with the narrative is that it is very slow, which ends up demotivating the viewer, but if you want an intense immersion in a very eccentric story, you will have fun with every minute of 'Kajillionaire'.
