Movie that follows a clear line of action dramas that seek to glorify the US military, 'Redemption Day' follows the specific story of a US Marine who, after fighting enemies on the battlefield, sets out on the riskiest mission of his life: saving his wife from a kidnapping. With the prominent presence of Andy Garcia in the cast, as well as Gary Dourdan's (‘Alien: Resurrection’) effort to be a good protagonist in "shoot, beat and bomb" style films, 'Redemption Day' is a good pastime for those who like movies with high adrenaline. Dourdan may not be any Sylvester Stallone or Arnold Schwarzenegger, but shows that he has potential to approach names like Scott Adkins -- who are always around, in action movies to help us pass the time.

Bloodsport
