"Lost Heart" is a drama movie that tells the story of Hannah, a mentally exhausted music star who returns to her hometown of Lost Heart in northern Michigan for her father's funeral. There she ends up facing ghosts from her past and may find the peace and emotional balance she once had. It is a religious film and, as such, has a target audience. It deals with the journey of its protagonist in an intimate way and its premise is based on faith, forgiveness and redemption. It will clearly appeal to viewers who are religious and seek films in this line, but will not necessarily turn away lovers of emotional stories.

The film follows a writer who returns to his hometown of Cognac after 35 years to represent a cognac brand and reunites with the son of his first love, a role played by Victor Belmondo, triggering an avalanche of passionate memories of his youth.
