The Incident

A detective and two brothers are trapped on an infinite staircase.

Trailer

Why watch this film?

First feature film of Mexican filmmaker Isaac Ezban ('Los parecidos', 'El secreto de Martín Cordiani'), 'El incidente' is a showcase of a well-crafted psychological horror and sci-fi production thanks to an ingenious premise (like something out of 'The Twilight Zone' or 'Groundhog Day') as counterweight to a limited budget. The movie tells two parallel stories that have in common taking place within spaces that, for some reason, seem to have no end: two brothers and a detective going down an infinite staircase, and a family traveling along an eternal highway. Even if the characters are not so well developed, the cast composed of great Mexican actors such as Humberto Busto, Nailea Norvind and Raúl Mendez; manages to convey the anguish of a torture that lasts for years. Movie winner of the press award at the 2014 Mórbido Festival.
