If you enjoyed the previous three films of the 'Hotel Transylvania' saga, 'Transformania' is one of those surefire entertainments. Here, the story revolves around, as the subtitle suggests, a transformation: Drac and his friends become humans while young and enthusiastic Johnny transforms into a monster. In addition to typically funny situations, full of absurd moments that should make the whole family laugh, there is a good message for the little ones who, in the end, are the main interested in the movie. Themes such as acceptance and understanding of the next come naturally within the story. Much of this is also due to the good voice work, in the original audio, of actors of the caliber of Andy Samberg (from the comedy series 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine'), Selena Gomez ('A Rainy Day in New York'), Steve Buscemi ('The Big Lebowski'), David Spade ('Joe Dirt') and Keegan-Michael Key ('Keanu: Where's My Cat?').

Plot summary
hen Van Helsing's mysterious invention, the "Monsterfication Ray", goes haywire, Drac and his monster pals are all transformed into humans, and Johnny becomes a monster. In their new mismatched bodies, Drac, stripped of his powers, and an exuberant Johnny, loving life as a monster, must team up and race across the globe to find a cure before it's too late, and before they drive each other crazy. With help from Mavis and the hilariously human Drac Pack, the heat is on to find a way to switch themselves back before their transformations become permanent.

Robot Dreams
Sometimes we get so carried away by the marketing power of studios like Disney Pixar, and we overlook other avenues for deep and powerful animated stories that don't need excessively complex plots to evoke emotions. Such is the case with Robot Dreams, a Hispanic-French production directed by Pablo Berger (2012’s Snow White), based on the eponymous graphic novel by Sara Varon. Set in New York during the 80s, the story follows Dog, whose solitary life leads him to buy a robot for companionship. Their friendship grows, but an unfortunate day at the beach forces them to separate and long for the day of their reunion. Virtually without dialogue, with vibrant animation and a captivating visual language, the film tells a simple yet profoundly moving story about (curiously) human relationships and the course they take despite (or because of) accidents, fortuitous circumstances, and uncontrollable events that happen throughout life.
