Sture Bergwall, more commonly known as Thomas Quick, was accused of more than 30 murders in Sweden - being convicted of eight of those crimes. However, some time later, investigative journalist Hannes Råstam uncovered a large scheme of manipulation, unmasking to the public a case of judicial fraud. 'Quick' brings precisely this trajectory, revealing not only the work of journalistic investigation but also how the judicial system can be manipulated from weak or false evidence. The direction is by Mikael Håfström, who was nominated for an Oscar for Best Foreign Film for 'Evil: Roots of Evil'.

Escape Plan
I would dare to say that 'Escape Plan' was the best movie of Sylvester Stallone since 'Rocky Balboa' in 2006. After all, there are several elements of this amazing action long. Firstly, the excellent premise of an escape specialist who is placed in a maximum security prison to prevent secrets from other prisons from leaking out. Then, the warlike atmosphere that promises to explode at any moment. And finally, the great performance of the Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger duo, which must leave any fan of the 1980s cinema absolutely fascinated. Even though the ending is a bit exaggerated, given what the movie had presented up to then, it's hard not to have fun with the production.
Outside the Wire
War movies are usually controversial, especially when they're American. Nationalism is always the main focus and the enemies are often exploited and underdeveloped countries, which often become victims of a conflict caused by other nations. In 'Outside the Wire' we see a slightly different approach to this. Of course it is still biased, but at least it tries to escape the typical clichés of this type of production. Anthony Mackie and Damson Idris star in this action and science fiction film that tries to unravel how complex these conflicts are and that war should never be a viable solution.

The characters' masks are much scarier, and it ceases to be a complete joke. It's still difficult to take the film entirely seriously, especially with this bizarre premise of Pooh and his friends seeking bloody revenge, but you can already feel more fear and, above all, immerse yourself in the wave of violence that the film promotes. To have fun with friends.
