Why watch this film?

A girl disguises herself as a boy to help her father on a heroic mission: this is the only way she finds to be accepted in a small group of firefighters in the 1930s. In this way, 'Fireheart' has a story that conveys the message of never giving up on your dreams and also the importance of the people we love. The animation is a co-production of Canada with France and the work of the animators is excellent. The setting of New York in the 1930s is very well done, as well as the moral dilemmas addressed in the narrative, which are in line with the reality portrayed.
