After 'Round 6', Netflix doubled down on their production of South Korean films and series. 'Love and Leashes' is part of this combo. The romantic comedy stars one of South Korea's pop stars, Seohyun, who is part of the Girls' Generation group. She has been in a series before, but this is her debut in a feature film. The movie talks about relationships based on sexual fetishes, which is at least a bit out of the box for Korean content - those familiar with what they produce know that some topics are rarely explored, including sex. Those used to American comedies may find 'Love and Leashes' approach a bit strange, as nothing is over the top, showing that exaggeration is not always necessary.

Plot summary
Despite his straight-laced, cold, and blunt demeanor, Jung Ji Hoo is still adored by his female co-workers. One day, his co-worker Ji Woo, mistakenly opens a package of Ji Hoo's, accidentally revealing for all the world to see one of his sexual fetishes. Passing it off as owning a pet, in secret, Ji Hoo and Ji Woo arrange a contract, that begins a racy romance and the indulgence of Ji Hoo's fetish for slave/master fantasies.
