They meet in Peru and experience an intense passion that makes them both rethink their choices. However, destiny ends up separating them and both they and the viewers are hoping for a reunion. It's a pleasant movie to watch, which will surely satisfy all the romantics out there. The production has beautiful photography thanks to the landscapes of Latin America and also good performances from both the protagonists and the supporting cast.

Plot summary
Salvador Campodónico is a successful Spanish businessman whose family owns the largest hotel corporation in all of Spain. For the construction of their first international project they choose to land in front of a world wonder: Cusco, navel of the world. It is there that he meets Ariana, a backpacker adventurer who lives a life completely opposite to his own, free from ties, and that he will love and hate as they get to know each other. The Taste of Things
From Vietnamese-French director Anh Hung Tran (The Scent of Green Papaya) and starring the legendary Juliette Binoche and Benoît Magimel, The Taste of Things was France's selection for the 2024 Oscars, although it was not nominated. Set in 1889 and based on the character of Dodin-Bouffant created by Marcel Rouff, the story follows a chef (Magimel) enchanted by his cook (Binoche), for whom he feels not only culinary admiration, but genuine love. However, she is not ready to take the step into marriage and is happy and content with the relationship they have. Sensual in its visuality and narrative, it is a powerful story of love and about love, which, while not entirely breaking free from conventions, is elevated by the formidable talent of its protagonists.
