Why watch this film?
Thirty years after the resounding success of the world's most beloved duo of squirrels, Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers get a new movie with 'Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers'. Inspired by the same-name series, a hit in the early 1990s, the feature film is a hybrid action comedy in live-action and animation, in the best style of 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit'. In the plot, Dale (Andy Samberg) lives off past success to maintain fame in the present, while Chip (John Mulaney) is an insurance broker. Life takes a turn, however, when the phone rings - and they receive an unexpected invitation. With good ideas, such as the participation of an adult Peter Pan, the movie knows how to play with the clichés that Disney has learned to use over the years, to deconstruct expectations and, above all, to make Chip and Dale have a new chance to be loved.
Thirty years after their popular television show ended, chipmunks Chip and Dale live very different lives. When a cast member from the original series mysteriously disappears, the pair must reunite to save their friend.
