Why watch this film?
It's amazing what the 'Blue Building Detectives' franchise has achieved: it hit the magical number of 1 million viewers in the cinema, established itself on TV as a success among kids and, on top of that, managed to make a beautiful journey on the theater stages. It is no wonder, then, that the saga of the junior detectives arrives at its third chapter with the friendly, honest and fun 'D.P.A. 3: An Adventure at the End of the World'. Unexpectedly directed by Mauro Lima, from 'Tim Maia', 'My Name Is Not Johnny' and 'Kings and Rats', the movie tells the story of the four detectives (Pippo, Bento, Berenice and Sol) facing an ancestral threat that affects the doorman Severino (Ronaldo Reis). Out of nowhere, he becomes a person of evil who wants to affect the four children. From then on, a race begins to save Severino while they also flee from witches (Klara Castanho and Alexandra Richter). Lima moves away from the adult, serious and daring tone of his other experiences as a director to embrace a movie that repeats patterns to tell the story of children in an adventure full of fantasy. 'D.P.A. 3' follows, thus, the b-a-ba of the other two feature films, hitting the right emotion and excitement of this story. Those who are fans of the other two films, as well as the series and the theater play, will be enchanted with the farewell of this beloved cast.
