Why watch this film?
A group of misfit friends who, upon entering puberty, begin to face the problems of adult life. A summer vacation, an adventure, and bicycles. Directed by Dani de la Torre ('Retribution'), we could summarize 'Live is Life' as follows: a great adventure like 'Stand By Me', but in Spanish. Which, although not particularly innovative, is not necessarily a bad thing. It's a well-executed teenage adventure movie, with a pleasant and melancholy story, emotional performances, and beautiful photography.
