Lady Winsley, an American novelist, is murdered in Büyükada, an island in the Prince archipelago in Turkey. Inspector Fergün arrives from Istanbul to head the investigation. With the help of the innkeeper, the beautiful Azra, he has to deal with the well-kept secrets of this small corner of the country with its numerous taboos, strong family ties, ancient traditions and ethnic diversity that is broader than people's minds.

A Haunting in Venice
Partially based on Agatha Christie's novel "The Hallowe'en Party," "A Haunting in Venice" is the third film in the Hercule Poirot detective series directed and starring Kenneth Branagh (from "Belfast"), following "Murder on the Orient Express" and "Death on the Nile." The story places us in Venice, where a retired and reclusive Poirot decides, skeptically and reluctantly, to attend a seance. However, when one of the attendees is murdered, he must return to detective work not only to uncover the murderer's identity but also to determine if something supernatural is at play. Due to this premise, "A Haunting in Venice" incorporates elements of the horror genre, elevating it beyond the typical whodunit and making it not only notably better than its two predecessors but also a surprising choice for the Halloween season.
They Cloned Tyrone
"A con artist, a pimp, and a prostitute uncover a government conspiracy". What could sound like the start of a joke is the premise of 'They Cloned Tyrone', a mystery thriller with elements of comedy and commentary on the contemporary political, social, and racial climate of the United States in a spirit similar to the brilliant "Sorry To Bother You". It doesn't always reach those heights and the script is uneven, but the fabulous chemistry between John Boyega (Star Wars: The Force Awakens), Jamie Foxx (Django Unchained), and Teyonah Parris (If Beale Street Could Talk) make this an extremely entertaining ride.
