An injured dancer meets a manipulative scammer and their lives intertwine in a web of deceit and love.

Why watch this film?

Directed by Nicolas Bedos (La Belle Époque) and selected for Cannes 2022, La Farsa is a French movie about love intrigues, deceit and double scams. The story begins with a dancer (Pierre Niney, Caja Negra) who must give up his career when he has an accident, so he decides to squander his youth in leisure and luxury. However, everything changes when he meets Margot (Marine Vacth, Young & Beautiful), a young woman who goes around life scamming and manipulating other men. It's a story with exciting and somewhat tangled intrigues, perhaps in the style of Gone Girl, and which also talks about art as a lie in itself.
