Based on Tia Williams' book "The Perfect Find," the romance "The Perfect Find" tells one of those stories of initially inappropriate romances that end up letting passion prevail. Here, specifically, Jenna (Gabrielle Union) returns to New York to revive her fashion career after a controversial dismissal. The best option for her ends up being working with magnate Darcy (Gina Torres). However, things get complicated when she falls in love with her charming and young coworker Eric (Keith Powers) - who happens to be Darcy's son. After risking everything for her career, Jenna must decide whether to risk it all in a secret romance or set aside love to make a strong comeback in the job market.

Plot summary

The story is predictable and, except for a Netflix Sex Education-like layer of paint, there's not much new. However, it's a good contender for a Gen Z classic.
