Why watch this film?

At the turn of the 1960s to the 70s, it seemed that Ferrari's glory days in Formula 1 were a thing of the past. But after a period of failures, the Italian team finally reunited with a new car: the 312B, which, in various versions, competed between 1970 and 75. With it, the Scuderia introduced the revolutionary and still cult 12-cylinder boxer engine - and went back to winning races. The titles did not come, but it was enough to sow the victorious seed that would germinate with three world titles in the second half of that decade. In this documentary, we learn the story of the Ferrari 312B, the reasons why the car was revolutionary and we see the achievements it brought, precisely at a time when glamor, risk and speed were growing in F1. In addition to bringing among the interviewees the great engineer Mauro Foghieri and drivers such as Jackie Stewart and Niki Lauda, the documentary also puts a reconstructed 312B to run today, through the streets of Monaco. Memorable for fans of motorsport and automotive engineering.
