Why watch this film?
Could you have an open relationship? That's the initial proposition of 'Permission', which stars Rebecca Hall ('Vicky Cristina Barcelona') and Dan Stevens ('Downton Abbey') as a couple who decide to "broaden their horizons" and meet other people while in the relationship they keep. The result is a mix of comedy, romance and drama, made to measure for modern relationships. The film has some flaws in its script, it is true, but the performance of the leading duo is the real highlight.
