Mark Wahlberg (‘The Fighter’) is back in comedy, this time alongside Rose Byrne (‘Spy’) as a couple who decide to adopt grown children, creating an “instant family” - as the original English title says. With a light humor about the challenges of being a father and mother, plus delightful performances from the child cast, ‘Instant Family’ is a great movie to watch in Sessão da Tarde mood.

Starring Will Ferrell, Ryan Reynolds and Octavia Spencer, director Sean Anders ('Instant Family') brings the Charles Dickens story of A Christmas Carol to modern times, but with a new twist: here, Scrooge turns the tables against the holiday ghosts. It's an interesting premise, and while the cast doesn't do much with it (Reynolds and Ferrell are their usual selves), it becomes a fun and harmless holiday movie, with songs created by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (Oscar winners for 'La La Land').
