Why watch this film?
How to lead a happy life when happiness itself paralyzes you? 'Ode To Joy' provides this original premise, which lends itself to both comedy and tragedy. The only problem is that the movie gets stuck in this strange place between those two things, without deciding which side to follow. If you can live with that, you will find a great performance of contained comedy by Martin Freeman (from the 'Hobbit' trilogy and the 'Shrlock' series), accompanied by a great cast with Brazilian Morena Baccarin ('Deadpool') and Melissa Rauch ('The Big Bang Theory').
