Why watch this film?

‘I Hate Love’ is a Mexican romantic drama, well-executed with all the characteristics of the genre. Even if it doesn't stray too far from conventions, it has a great story of teenage drama with a love triangle, excellent pacing, and a mysterious element in the deafness of one of its characters. Additionally, thanks to wonderful cinematography and featuring Christian Vázquez and Diego Cataño in its cast (both obligatory references in Mexico's juvenile acting scene), it is a more than enjoyable movie for a romantic afternoon.
