Why watch this film?

Starring porn actors, written and directed by Glenn Danzig (founder of the band The Misfits) and based on his horror comic books from Verotik, this movie is shaping up to be an instant cult classic... and not for the reasons that many directors would want. 'Verotika' aims to be a homage to the giallo cinema of yore, with exponents like Dario Argento's 'Suspiria' or Mario Bava's 'Night of the Demon', although it may end up reminding you more of the iconic 'Barbarella', with Jane Fonda, only with pretensions of violence that end in unintentional humor. This is one of the best recent examples to illustrate the phrase "so bad it's good", as it is a film with mediocre production values closer to B-movie cinema, with performances as clumsy as the editing or camera work. If you enjoyed watching 'The Room' by Tommy Wiseau (whose chaotic production is recreated in 'The Disaster Artist: Masterpiece'), you will probably enjoy this movie for the same reasons.
