Why watch this film?

Thales Corrêa's film, "Bathroom Stalls & Parking Lots", was initially distributed for free and now comes to digital platforms. Strongly inspired by Sean Baker's excellent "Tangerine", the feature film bets on the road movie format to try to explore the protagonist's intimate and personal journey, searching for an old passion. The chaos and disorder of direction and script in "Bathroom Stalls & Parking Lots" is clear from the first moment. There is not much stability in the story, or in the characters. The independent air stands out. Thus, viewers who seek some depth in the plot should quickly move away from the proposal of the film, which ends up falling into stereotypes. However, as a story of customs and discoveries, the feature film works. And it can even please. It is only necessary to go with low expectations and be open to experimentation.
