Why watch this film?

Romantic religious drama, 'If You're Gone' delves into the story of faith, disappointment and anguish of Lillian White (Masey McLain), a girl who goes through a true test after her boyfriend's disappearance on the day of her high school graduation. Reminiscent of the gospel sports drama 'A Reason to Live', this film by Brittany Goodwin ('Secrets in The Fall') attempts to explore the emptiness that exists in the unexpected disappearance of someone and how friendship and faith can be important in the process of personal rediscovery. The Christian audience should be moved and find comfort in the plot, which relies on basic elements in this type of story to win over the audience and bring some kind of reflection.
