The second of the two-part adaptation of "The Three Musketeers" by Martin Bourboulon (Eiffel), initiated with "D'Artagnan." In "Milady," we pick up the story where its predecessor left off: D'Artagnan (François Civil) is captured after witnessing the kidnapping of his beloved Constance (Lyna Khoudri), and he must join forces with the spy Milady de Winter (Eva Green) to locate her, while war erupts in France and his friends, the Musketeers Athos (Vincent Cassel), Porthos (Pio Marmaï), and Aramis (Romain Duris), are on the front lines. Like its predecessor, "Milady" is burdened by excessive fidelity to Alexandre Dumas' story, including so many details that it can be challenging to follow even across two feature films. However, the action sequences—more in the style of John Wick than a traditional period film—are always thrilling, making it a satisfying epic adventure and one of the most successful big-budget projects in French cinema in recent years.
This is an adventure that is sure to captivate with its message of friendship and nature, as well as being a family story. Without falling into melodrama, the feature film tells the story of Mia, a girl who quickly connects with a cute white lion cub and brings a beautiful reflection on our commitment to ecology. This French production also features Mélanie Laurent (from 'Inglourious Basterds') and Langley Kirkwood ('Banshee') in the cast.
After his uncle dies, a young boy learns of his relative's true occupation as an undercover spy and is later recruited to be undercover himself. Based on the novel by Anthony Horowitz.
Adventurer Jack Minoun will have to return to a wild island after becoming a star. Alongside an unpredictable group, he will embark on a treasure hunt in search of a pirate sword.
Embarking on the wave of successful video games, the game 'Uncharted' gets its cinematic adaptation. The movie, which has the subtitle 'Off the Map', brings Nathan Drake's first adventure before the events of the games and is starred by Mark Wahlberg, who plays Victor Sullivan, and Tom Holland, who gives life to the famous treasure hunter. They may not be the most obvious choices for these characters, but they brought a charm to the screen - especially Holland, who presents a mix of Peter Parker with Indiana Jones. In fact, it's hard to see 'Uncharted' without thinking of 'Raiders of the Lost Ark'. That's why we have a very fun adventure that opens up space to become a successful franchise in cinemas too. As soon as the movie ends, you want to follow Wahlberg and Holland on a journey.
