"Summer holidays are always conducive to young people finding new passions, making friends and strengthening existing bonds. In addition, it is fertile ground for comedies of manners. This is proven by the delightful Italian comedy 'Sotto il sole di Riccione', an original Netflix movie. In a mixture of 'The Little Nicholas Holidays' and 'The Summer of My Life', this comedy plays with the possibilities of these summer stories with typical teenage plots, full of highs and lows, fights and romances, comings and goings. It is not a revolutionary film, nor is the direction of Younuts (a duo of directors known for music videos) consistent. However, it is difficult not to have fun and be entertained by the entertainment proposed by the feature film, typical of an unpretentious Afternoon Session that helps pass the time on any sunny day."
