"Netflix continues to be committed to producing good romantic comedies and 'Desperados' is part of this wave. The story is easy to identify with and speaks of something that must have happened to most people since ghosting (term used to designate sudden termination without explanation) has become an increasingly common practice in relationships. In the plot, Wes's new boyfriend goes days without responding to her and she decides to send an email saying everything that comes to her mind, and she counts on the help of her friends. They are all drunk at the time and end up regretting what happened when the said boyfriend explains why he was away from his cell phone for so long. It is also a great reflection on how we are affected by traumas from old relationships and it takes a while to trust in a new one."
