Mucho Mucho Amor: The Legend of Walter Mercado

"Substitute 'Ligue Djá: O Lendário Walter Mercado' with 'Mucho Mucho Amor: The Legend of Walter Mercado'. Translate the following text into US English: 'Ligue Djá: O Lendário Walter Mercado' has the smell, texture, and look typical of the 1980s. And that couldn't be better. After all, astrologer Walter Mercado—known in Brazil for his catchphrase "ligue já!"—couldn't be more representative of that decade, lost in the memory of many. The dazzling look, the excess of shine, the androgynous appearance, the hair full of lacquer and with a striking mahogany color. All this helped the success of the Puerto Rican, who spent hours and hours on television talking about signs and predictions. In this film by Cristina Costantini and Kareem Tabsch, released exclusively on Netflix, the astrologer's secrets are revealed with delicacy and depth, such as Mercado's sexuality and the reasons for his sudden disappearance from TV, right at the height of his career. All this illustrated with interviews with the star, who died in 2019, illustrations inspired by tarot cards, wonderful archive images and interviews with people who were part (directly and indirectly) of the life of this charming "Latin wizard"."
