Why watch the movie Mermaid Down?
"Before anything else, keep in mind that it is a horror movie, the theme of mermaids may be confusing, but don't be fooled, it's a very dark story. 'Mermaid Down' is an independent film produced with the help of a crowdfunding website, which tells the story of a mermaid's revenge after her tail is cruelly removed. It is a low-budget production, but even with technical issues, it has an intriguing plot. The movie draws a parallel between violence against women and the neglect of people towards the ocean."
