Six mothers from different backgrounds navigate the challenges and joys of breastfeeding.
Trailer
Why watch the movie De Peito Aberto?
"Breastfeeding is one of the richest and most important periods in a baby's life. After all, it is where a deep connection between mother and child takes place, as well as being the source of a series of rich nutrients for the formation of that child. In 'De Peito Aberto', filmmaker Graziela Mantoanelli delves into the subject while accompanying the journey and daily life of six mothers in the breastfeeding process. From there, with a clever narrative that seems to dialogue with the series of films 'The Rebirth of Birth', she shows the challenges of mothers, social prejudice towards breastfeeding and the richness of this act. An important film for parents and mothers, without distinctions or prejudices."
