Trailer
Why watch the movie Grandma?
"Ellie Reid (Lily Tomlin) shut herself off from the world after losing her partner, whom she had lived with for 38 years. Antisocial and with a sharp sense of humor, she will have to come out of "her protective bubble" when her granddaughter asks for help. The two embark on a one-day journey that forces Ellie to confront her past and blossom, while the young girl must prepare to face the future. Outstanding performance by Lily Tomlin (from the series 'Grace & Frankie'), which favors an intense exchange on screen with the actress who plays her granddaughter, the also talented Julia Garner (from the indie drama 'The Assistant'). A transformative movie that, above all, speaks about the importance of establishing powerful family bonds."
