Norbert is an internet addict, who tries to shut off the whole world (family included). One day a catastrophe happens. Internet is off due to unpaid bill, so he must leave home and face outside world to reach internet provider and pay the bill.
"We are all familiar with the figure of the nerds, people whose introversion or social ineptitude lead them to seclude themselves and avoid social interaction at all costs, usually taking refuge in solitary pastimes like video games, movies (sniff) or browsing the internet all day. 'Nerd in a Bind' is a strange low-budget comedy that takes this characteristic of its main character to the extreme, to the point of satire. It is a joke that ends up being too soon, but the movie itself fully embraces its ridiculousness and its obvious limitations in the visual effects department, with the intention that it will be talked about as an eclipsed classic cult within a few years. If you're in the mood for something truly unusual and extravagant, give it a chance."
